General Policies and Requirements
Abstracts of Scientific Paper, Scientific Exhibits (posters) and Educational Exhibits (posters) for consideration of presentation at the RANZCR 2007 Annual Scientific Meeting will be called for at the end of January 2007. All abstract must comply with the below information:
- All abstracts must be original work. An abstract should not be submitted if the work is to be published or presented at a major national or international meeting prior to the RANZCR 2007 ASM.
Please note: This requirement is not applicable to abstracts submitted for consideration of inclusion in the Radiation Oncology Program. - The purpose of the abstract is to define the precise subject of the presentation to an audience.
- Scientific Papers and Scientific Exhibits should present the results of “standard” scientific studies.
- Educational Exhibits should be designed to teach or review radiologic signs, pathologic correlations, procedures, techniques, treatments, and interventions or other aspects related to the practice of imaging.
- Submission acknowledges consent to publication of the abstract on the website, Blackwell’s Journal and the ASM CDROM. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Blackwell’s Journal and all full papers by invited and international speakers will be published on the ASM CDROM.
- The presenting author will be required to register for the Meeting in order to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program. Deadline for presenting author registration is 11 July 2007.
- Please print a copy of the abstract submission form for your records prior to clicking the submit button.

- All abstracts must be prepared according to the guidelines provided. Abstracts will be published as submitted.
