Dr Varsha Joshi
Dr. Varsha Joshi is a seasoned radiologist with over two decades of clinical expertise in advanced CT and MR imaging. A graduate of prestigious medical institutions in Mumbai, she has held senior consultant roles at Vijaya Diagnostic Centers, Hyderabad, and served as a key advisor in selecting imaging platforms. Her specialization in Head and Neck Radiology is reflected in her numerous national and international publications, editorial contributions, and invited faculty roles at global conferences. Dr. Joshi has led multidisciplinary teams including Tumor Boards, Stroke, and Cochlear Implant programs, and coordinated the DNB Radiology program at Apollo Hospitals for nearly a decade. She is a trustee of the Radiology Education Foundation and holds a fellowship in Head and Neck Imaging and Neuroradiology from the USA. Recognized with awards such as RSNA’s Certificate of Merit and ECR’s Magna Cum Laude, she also completed a Healthcare Management program at ISB, enhancing her leadership in radiology education and practice.
Professor Juhana Hakumäki
Professor Juhana Hakumäki is Chair of Clinical Radiology at University of Eastern Finland in Kuopio, Finland, and responsible for research, basic education, and specialist training in radiology at UEF and at the Kuopio University Hospital.
In addition to specializing in radiology, he also holds European and Finnish certifications in neuroradiology and a formal diploma in medical administration.
His research work primarily focuses on new applications and methods in magnetic resonance imaging and cone beam computed tomography, ranging from basic research to clinical patient studies. He is also actively investigating the use of AI applications and data informatics for advancement of image-based diagnostics and its impact on radiology education.

Dr Suresh K. Mukherji
Dr. Suresh K. Mukherji, MD, MBA, FACR received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and M. D. degree from Georgetown University. After finishing his Radiology residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, he completed a 2-year Neuroradiology Fellow, with emphasis on head and neck imaging, at the University of Florida. His past academic positions include being Director of Head & Neck Radiology at University of North Carolina, Division Director of Neuroradiology at University of Michigan and Chair of Radiology at Michigan State University. He is currently Professor of Radiology at the University of Illinois & University of Louisville, Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers University, Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery faculty at Michigan State University and faculty in the Department of Oromaxillofacial Radiology at Texas A&M School of Dentistry.
Dr. Mukherji is Past President of the American Society of Head & Neck Radiology and has served on the numerous leadership positions in Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society and American Society of Neuroradiology. He has been the Principal Investigator and co-investigator on numerous NIH and society grants and has authored over 500 scientific manuscripts, chapters and editorials. He has written or edited 15 textbooks and is the Consulting Editor for both Neuroimaging Clinics and Magnetic Resonance Clinics of North America and Editorial Board of the Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography. Dr. Mukherji is a devoted educator and has been an invited speaker on over 600 occasions on six continents. He was recently honored by being bestowed honorary memberships to the Indian Society of Head & Neck Radiology and Hungarian Society of Neuroradiology. He is an International Advisory Board Member for the Santiniketan Medical College and Hospital in West Bengal, India and is an Adjunct Professor of Radiology at the Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia.
Professor Elizabeth Dick
Professor Elizabeth Dick, BSc, MBBS, MRCP, FRCR, MD, EDER, is a Consultant Radiologist and Professor of Practice at Imperial College NHS Trust (ICHT) with expertise in Body MRI, Emergency, Trauma and MSK Radiology, subjects upon which she publishes and lectures nationally and internationally. She completed an MSK Fellowship at Duke University and a Body MRI Fellowship at Imperial College, earning her doctoral degree.
At ICHT she was Head of Trauma Radiology and is Associate Director of Medical Education responsible for Faculty Development and Widening Access to Medicine. Dr Chamaree Chuapetcharasopon
Dr Chuapetcharasopon is currently the President of AOSR. She is from Bangkok, Thailand.
After finishing her medical school and residency training in radiology at Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University, in Bangkok, Thailand, she continued her fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Body Imaging at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, in Texas, USA in 1990. She also finished her MBA from Webster’s university, USA in 2008.
She continues to be actively involved in National Professional Organizations domestically and internationally; giving lectures based on her knowledge in Radiology, Medical Informatics and Leadership. In her involvement in the National and International Professional Organizations, she took on various roles, some of which includes being the Central Asia Regional Vice president of Medical Women Internal Association (1998-2001), President of the Thai Medical Women’s Association, under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen (2012 – 2014), President of the Radiological Society of Thailand (2015-2018) and President of Thai Medical Informatics Association(2019-2022)
Dr Chamaree is former member of the Committee of International Radiology Education (CIRE) of Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) (2013 – 2019) where she was awarded honorary membership in 2015 when RSNA celebrated its 101st anniversary.
Professor Noriyuki Tomiyama
Professor Noriyuki Tomiyama has served as the Chairman and Professor of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine since 2010. He obtained both his MD and PhD from the same university. In 2022, he became the Director of the Institute for Radiation Sciences at Osaka University, established in 2018. This institute aims to enhance education, research, and safety management in radiation sciences by consolidating all radiation facilities at Osaka University to optimize resources and advance the field of radiation science.
He became a board member of the Japan Radiological Society (JRS) in 2014, serving as the Committee Chair for International Exchange Liaisons. In 2024, he was elected President of JRS, assuming leadership of the organization. His involvement with the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology (AOSR) began in 2018 when he was appointed Honorary Secretary. He later served as President-elect in 2021 and became President in 2023. He completed his term as AOSR President at AOCR 2025 and now serves as Immediate Past President.
His affiliations include the Fleischner Society and the International Society for Strategic Studies in Radiology (IS3R). His specialty is chest imaging, with a research focus on the imaging of mediastinal tumors, including thymic tumors. His current research explores lung cancer, interstitial pneumonia, and computer-assisted diagnosis. He has authored over 370 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Associate Professor Lily Wang
Associate Professor Lily Wang is a neuroradiologist, Vice Chair of Operation, Section Chief & Robert R. Lukin M. D. Endowed Chair of Neuroradiology and the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program Director at the University of Cincinnati. She completed her residency at the Prince of Wales/Sydney Children’s Hospital, followed by fellowships in pediatric radiology, pediatric neuroradiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Her areas of research include advanced imaging in stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, and epilepsy. She is a central reader and co-investigator in multiple NIH-funded grants. Dr Wang uses innovative and interactive teaching methods in the department and invited lectures including RSNA, ARRS, ASNR, and RANZCR. She has won multiple resident and medical student teaching awards.
Associate Professor Cher Heng Tan
Associate Professor Cher Heng Tan graduated with MBBS (Singapore) and FRCR (UK). He completed his Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center and holds an Executive MBA from Insead. He is a Senior Consultant radiologist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is presently Group Chief for Research and Innovation at NHG Health and concurrently Assistant Dean (Clinical Research) at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He is past President of the Singapore Radiological Society and the Asian Society of Abdominal Radiology, and presently the Honorary Treasurer of the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology. He is the co-Chair of Singapore’s national medical imaging AI platform, AimSG.
Dr Anugayathri Jawahar
Dr. Anugayathri Jawahar completed her radiology residency training in India and at Loyola University Chicago, followed by a body MRI fellowship at Stanford University. She is currently an AssistantProfessor of Radiology and Associate Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Northwestern University.
An award-winning educator and researcher, she has received the Outstanding Educator and Excellence in Mentorship awards for her contributions to teaching and mentorship. Her clinical and academicinterests center on genitourinary imaging, including prostate and gynecologic oncology, as well as pelvic floor imaging.
Dr. Jawahar holds leadership roles in national societies and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Pelvic Floor Imaging Disease-Focused Panel at the Society of Abdominal Radiology. She has authored 48 peer-reviewed publications, 2 book chapters, and delivered more than 100 presentations, including invited lectures at national and international meeting.
Prof Shabnam Grover

Prof Shabnam Bhandari Grover, is Senior Professor and Academic In-Charge of Radiology at Sharda University, Greater Noida, with over 42 years’ experience in teaching and research. She previously served as Professor and Chair of Radiology and Vice Principal at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, and is currently an Honorary Technical Expert-Advisor to the National Health Authority (Ayushman Bharat), India, and member of the Radiology Society of North America’s (RSNA’s) Committee for International Radiology Education (CIRE), for the second term, until 2027 year-end. Currently she is the National President of the Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (IFUMB). A life member of IRIA, IFUMB, ISPR, ECR and RSNA, Prof Grover has 98 publications, over 1,000 citations, four book chapters, and more than 350 national and international presentations and lectures. She has received 39 fellowships, awards, and gold medals, which include the Royal College of Radiology Fellowship (1991), and the IRIA Delhi Chapter Lifetime Achievement Award (2024).
Her research and teaching focuses on breast imaging, pediatric and gastrointestinal radiology, Onco-imaging, and Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound in Ovarian cancer, earning international acclaim.
She is currently advancing work in AI and ChatGPT reliability in radiology, with upcoming research presentations at RSNA 2025 and an invited lecture at ECR 2026.
Dr Jay Parikh
Full Professor of Diagnostic Radiology in the Division of Diagnostic Imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center
Dr Jay Parikh, MD, FACR, FSBI, FACPE, FRCP(c), is Full Professor of Diagnostic Radiology in the Division of Diagnostic Imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has served prominent leadership roles at three institutions, including overseeing 17 breast centers as Medical Director of the MD Anderson Breast Care Network with Memorial Hermann in Houston.
Dr. Parikh has a long-standing record of service. He is currently President of the Texas Radiological Society, and Chair of the Committee on Breast Ultrasound Accreditation and Chair of the Committee on Fellowship Credentials in the American College of Radiology. Dr. Parikh has served as President of the National Consortium of Breast Centers, President of the Pacific Northwest Radiological Society, and President of the Washington State Radiological Society.
Dr. Parikh has been honored for his leadership and clinical expertise as a Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives, Fellow of the American College of Radiology, Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Parikh is an internationally recognized educator and researcher. He has provided over 500 educational on-site presentations and co-authored over 100 original peer- reviewed original publications. His areas of educational expertise include breast imaging, community expansion, leadership, mentorship, and wellness.

Dr Fides Schwartz
Lead Investigator of the Center for Advanced CT Translation and Innovation at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School
Fides Schwartz trained as an MD in Heidelberg, Germany and as a radiologist in Basel, Switzerland. She then did a research fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, USA, during which the opportunity arose to stay and work with the first full-body photon-counting CT before its approval by the FDA. She led the initial prospective exploration of the new scanner until its FDA approval and then optimized clinical protocols and worked on pushing the boundaries of possibilities the new technology entailed, e.g., for the visualization of CSF-venous fistulas. In late 2023 she moved to a position as Lead Investigator of the Center for Advanced CT Translation and Innovation at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. The Brigham and Women’s Hospital had the first emergency department installation of a photon-counting CT, bringing with it new challenges and opportunities for protocol development and optimization, in addition to further research into all aspects of CT imaging.
Dr Maged Abdelgalil
Professor of Radio-Diagnosis and Nuclear Medicine and Head of Nuclear Medicine Units
Dr Maged Abdelgalil is Professor of Radio-Diagnosis and Nuclear Medicine and Head of Nuclear Medicine Units at several leading institutions in Egypt. With over two decades of experience, he has established state-of-the-art PET/CT and nuclear medicine facilities nationwide and published widely in American, European, and Egyptian journals. His work focuses not only on oncologic imaging, risk stratification, and personalized follow-up strategies, but also on advancing nuclear medicine practice in Middle east. This body of work has attracted international attention, including recognition on platforms such as AuntMinnie. He represented Egypt at the BRICS Forum for Nuclear Medicine in Saint Petersburg. A member of SNMMI and RSNA, and Editor of the Egyptian Journal of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Dr Abdelgalil continues to advance global nuclear medicine while mentoring future leaders and fostering international collaboration in molecular imaging.

Dr Salman Qureshi based in Dubai, Consultant Head Neck Neuroradiologist at SSMC in Abu Dhabi completed his medical school, radiology training and subspeciality training in Manchester. Elected as Secretary of ESHNR having already served on the executive committee for 8 years. Other head and neck imaging roles include BSHNI Secretary, RSNA Neuro Head Neck Scientific Subcommittee, ASHNR International Relations Committee and Head Neck Team Leader for EBR Written Evaluation Committee. Prof. Singh has held several leadership positions within the Indian Radiological & Imaging Association (IRIA), including Scientific Chair of the Annual National Conference and President of the Punjab State Chapter (2024–25). He has played an instrumental role in organizing numerous national conferences. A postgraduate teacher and research guide with over 15 years of experience, he has mentored many postgraduate MD Radiology students.

Dr Bharti Khurana is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and an Emergency Radiologist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is the Founding Director of the Trauma Imaging Research and Innovation Centre (TIRIC). As an NIH-funded physician-scientist, she is dedicated to developing novel machine-learning tools to enhance the early detection and prevention of interpersonal violence.
Dr Khurana also serves as the Director of the Emergency Radiology CME course at Harvard Medical School, the Section Editor for UpToDate, and the Editor of the Emergency Radiology COFFEE case book. She is a scholar of the Diagnostic Excellence Program at the National Academy of Medicine and a Fellow of both the American College of Radiology and the American Society of Emergency Radiology.
Dr Khurana has received numerous accolades, including being named the Most Distinguished Physician by the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, receiving the American College of Radiology Innovation Award, and being honoured as a three-time recipient of the Honoured Educator Award by the Radiological Society of North America.

Asst Prof Charlene Liew is the Director of Innovation for the Radiological Sciences Academic Clinical Program, Singapore Health Services and the lead for the Radiology AI and Innovation taskforce for SingHealth with the responsibility of integrating Artificial intelligence into Radiological Sciences for the largest public healthcare cluster in Singapore.
She has held numerous leadership positions in local and international professional bodies, and is the founding chair for the Singapore Radiological Society’s AI subsection. Professor Andrea Rockall is Clinical Chair in Radiology at Imperial College London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
After graduating from King’s College London, and completing MRCP (internal medicine), Professor Rockall trained in radiology at St Mary’s Hospital and University College Hospital, London. Professor Rockall was awarded the Rohan Williams Medal (Gold Medal) for the FRCR examination. Following appointments at Barts and The London NHS Trust and the Royal Marsden Hospital, Professor Rockall was appointed as Clinical Chair of Radiology, Imperial College London. Professor Rockall has served as Chair of the Female Pelvic Imaging group of ESUR, member of ORADS steering committee, and is currently Chair of ESR Board of Directors.
Professor Rockall’s special interests are in genitourinary cancer, image-based clinical trials, and machine-learning applications in radiology, being Chief Investigator on CRUK and NIHR funded studies in these areas. Professor Rockall contributes widely to undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialist radiology education and is passionate about sustainability in healthcare.

Prof Ramdas (Ram) Senasi is a distinguished Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at Hull University Teaching Hospitals and an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). In his academic role, he is pivotal in shaping radiographer education and curriculum development. As the Healthcare Clinical Lead for Fujifilm Healthcare UK, he plays a strategic role in aligning imaging solutions with clinical needs, thereby driving innovations in patient care. With an extensive background in medical education, global outreach, and leadership development, Prof Senasi has spearheaded a surgical robotic program in the Caribbean and Malaysia. He has also co-chaired the World Federation of Paediatric Imaging (WFPI) Outreach Committee and is a Founding Member of the World Federation of Emergency Radiology (WFER).

Associate Professor Susan Shelmerdine is a consultant paediatric radiologist and post-doctoral AI academic based in London, UK. Associate Professor Shelmerdine specialises in digital innovation for patient benefit, advocating for the ethical, evidence-based, and responsible adoption of AI with a human-centered approach. With a PhD in children’s postmortem imaging and an NIHR Advanced Fellowship in AI for paediatric radiology, Associate Professor Shelmerdine is at the forefront of integrating technology into clinical practice. Associate Professor Shelmerdine has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications and serves as Chair of the AI Taskforce for the European Society of Paediatric Radiology. Associate Professor Shelmerdine also sits on the Royal College of Radiologists AI Advisory Committee and recently served as a specialist committee member on a NICE Early Valuation Assessment for AI technologies, where she has helped influence policy and practice.

Dr Sudhakar K. Venkatesh is a Professor of Radiology at the Mayo Clinic and a globally recognised expert in abdominal imaging, with a focus on liver fibrosis quantification and MR elastography. His extensive research, comprising over 300 peer-reviewed publications, has influenced non-invasive imaging approaches for chronic liver disease.
Dr Venkatesh has received numerous prestigious accolades, including fellowships from the Society of Abdominal Radiology (FSAR) and the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (FESGAR). He is currently co-chair of LI-RADS Quantitative Imaging and LI-RADS cholangiocarcinoma workgroups. He also served as Chair of disease focus panel- liver fibrosis. He plays an influential role in leading radiology journals, serving as an associate editor and editorial board member.
A notable educator and mentor, he has guided numerous radiologists and fellows globally. His expertise is widely recognised, with invitations to lecture at major international conferences and contributions to scientific societies.

Dr Lim Chee Yeong is a Senior Consultant Radiologist and Director of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Singapore General Hospital’s Department of Diagnostic Radiology, as well as the Programme Director of the Singhealth Diagnostic Radiology Residency Programme. Specialising in musculoskeletal diagnostic imaging and intervention, Dr Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2006 and achieved FRCR by the Royal College of Radiologists (UK) in 2012. With a keen interest in sports injuries, degenerative arthritis, and spine interventions, he is also a dedicated medical educator, having completed the MHPE from Maastricht University (NL) in 2021. His educational research focuses on competency assessments, leadership, and mentoring in clinical environments.
