From the Airport to the City:

Christchurch Airport offers convenient transport options into the city:

  • Airport Shuttle: Shared shuttles provide door-to-door service for approximately NZD $25 per person.
  • Public Bus: The Metro Red Bus Route 29 runs regularly between the airport and central Christchurch, with fares around NZD $8.

  • The city centre is walkable, with many attractions, restaurants and hotels within a short distance.
