Targeting Cancer Fun Run
The Targeting Cancer Fun Run will take place on the banks of the serene Brisbane River starting at South Bank, 5 minute walk from the Brisbane Convention Centre.
Taking place on the Saturday morning of the conference, the Fun Run is an iconic event at the RANZCR Annual Scientific Meeting, bringing together radiation oncologists, clinical radiologists, trainees, sponsors, exhibitors, health workers, consumers, RANZCR staff, and local community to break a sweat, take in the local scenery, and breathe in some fresh air to start the day.
What’s more meaningful about it is that the Fun Run is a signature activity of the Targeting Cancer Campaign at www.targetingcancer.com.au in an aim to raise awareness of radiation therapy as an effective, safe, and sophisticated treatment for cancer.

Targeting Cancer Fun Run 2023
Event Details
Date: Saturday, 21 October 2023.
Distance: 5km run or 2.5km walk/family run.
Registration Fee: $30 per adult; $60 per family (up to two adults and two kids).
(This includes race bibs, Targeting Cancer branded T-shirts and hats, available to collect from the RANZCR booth in the exhibition hall from Thursday, 19 October 2022)

5.30am Runner registration, event briefing, and warmup
6.00am Run starts Kurilpa Point Park
7.00am Run finishes Kurilpa Point Park
7.30am Event concludes
