Best Interventional Radiology Presentation – Vascular and Interventional Radiology Queensland (VIRQ)

Eligible candidates must be a member of the RANZCR College.
Award/Prize:
VIRQ has kindly donated a cash prize of $1,000 for the best Oral Interventional Radiology Presentation.
IRSA Trainee Prize

Criteria:
Eligible candidates must be a trainee member of the RANZCR College.
Award/Prize:
IRSA has kindly offered complimentary IRSA ASM registration (for the following year, in this case 2026) and complimentary IRSA membership for 2026.
RADIATION ONCOLOGY ABSTRACT PRIZES
Varian Prize – Radiation Oncology Oral Presentation

Criteria:
Radiation Oncology College Trainee Member
Award/Prize:
Since 1984, the firm of Varian has kindly donated an annual monetary prize and a plaque to be awarded for the best scientific paper prepared and presented by a Student Member in the Radiation Oncology section of the Scientific Program of the ASM. Varian has kindly donated a cash prize of $2,000. The prize will be judged on the following criteria: originality, hypothesis generation, methodology, amount of work undertaken, analysis of results, presentation, clinical importance and response to questions. The abstract should include an indication of the background/hypothesis, methods/patients involved and results and conclusions.

Chris Atkinson Award – Best Radiation Oncology Scientific Paper Presentation

Criteria:
Radiation Oncology College Member (excluding trainee members).
Award/Prize:
The Chris Atkinson Award is a cash prize of $1,000. The prize will be judged on originality, scientific merit and the quality of presentation.
Elekta Award – the advances in the use of technology in Radiation Therapy

Radiation Oncology Oral Presentation
Criteria:
Radiation Oncology College Member.
Award/Prize:
Elekta Pty Ltd Australia has kindly agreed to provide the recipient with $2,000 towards registration and travel expenses to attend either ASTRO or ESTRO in 2022. In addition, Elekta Pty Ltd Australia will also present the recipient with an Award Trophy. E&S team to check in with Elekta for the trophy.
FROGG Prize for best proffered GU oral presentation
FROGG is delighted to offer a $2000 prize for the best genitourinary proffered paper. Eligible abstracts must have a genitourinary radiation oncology focus and be selected for presentation in the FROGG genitourinary session. Your paper can be chosen by the FROGG executive to be included in this session.
Criteria:
Genitourinary topic with radiation oncology focus selected for an oral abstract presentation at the ASM.
Award/Prize:
$2,000 cash prize funded by FROGG
New Zealand Radiology Education Trust Radiation Oncology Research Award

A RANZCR ASM Radiation Oncology Oral/ Exhibit Prize
Background
The NZ Radiology Education Trust (NZRET) focuses on quality, education, research, workforce development and peer support and aims to promote and raise the profile of radiology and/or radiation oncology, and to educate the wider medical and public communities on the optimal use of radiology.
Criteria:
Eligible candidates must be a RANZCR Fellow, RANZCR Registrar or RANZCR Educational Affiliate and must reside and work in New Zealand.
Award/Prize:
NZRET has kindly donated a valuable prize for the most outstanding research contribution by a New Zealand applicant to the RANZCR ASM. The prize consists of NZD$2000.
